Thanks to Dave Harlow for posting the great link to the article on Dandurand. I wrote the author Wm Urban a short note. Dave King has the Dandurand ancestors. This article and his Petite Canada site fit quite well together. I' m sure all of our early French-Canadian ancestors shared basically the same background. Sure wish Mr. Urban had added a little more on Bourbonnais and Kankakee Co. I have printed it out so I can read it again off-line. Audrey
