Re: A question--instead of typing, is it possible to scan the book, pictures and all, for posting on the site? Seems like it would save time. Scanning does not produce a very good screen image. It would also take up a huge amount of space on the server. I have a copy of a one page letter that was scanned. It takes up 42,139 KB. The same letter in a Word.doc format only requires 36 KB. Typing the text, then putting in only scanned photos is really the best way to go. Text will also load on the site much faster than scanned data. We often have to wait for the graphics to load even with a super fast modem. Many thanks to Carol Anne for typing her little fingers to the bone so we can all have The Saga of St Anne on-line. That was a huge job and we appreciate all of her time and hard work. She had sent me a sneak preview several weeks ago. I was having a hard time keeping it under wraps until the official announcement was made. Audrey
