Listers, I have received a notice from RootsWeb HQ that the KLEZ virus was found in a MESSAGE purporting to be from one of our members. As you know, some of these invaders can take over familiar addresses to use to spread their various infections. Alas, Holly Forgue - yours is one of the captured addresses - there were two others, which I unfortunately didn't record as this all began. I know we are cautious about strange attachments, but now we must look out for messages as well. The subject line is often a tip-off: it may say something like "Merry Christmas" or "How are you?" or "Here's a new game to play" or "congratulations". The ILSTANNE name appears in brackets on the subject line, looking very normal. I am certainly not much of a techie - but I do know that if you get something like this, delete it immediately without opening - and then go on to delete it wherever it may be stored in your computer (eMail files, etc.). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, gang. BUT - if we all are alert and refuse to play this game, it will go away. Cheers to all, Ginny Crawford Administrator, ILSTANNE
