Bonjour, I have noticed that there was an Hospital for the Insane (Illinois Eastern Hospital for the Insane) in Kankakee in 1880. Il would like to know if this hospital existed in 1866-1867 and if the patients registers still exist. Raymond Ouimet Gatineau

The hospital was in operation in the 1940's and 1950's; I'm not sure when it closed.
