I need help...<s> I am fairly savvy when it comes to doing my genealogy but I am really confused now. I have a marriage license for a Walter Cheffer and Emma DeLude dated April 7, 1912 married in St. Anne by P. Beauchaup minister of the gospel....I also have show this marriage recorded in Father Chiniquays Ledger.....The license shows Emma's parents as Oliver DeLude and Marcelline Saindon (my ggrandparents), living in Bradley and born in Manteno....Kankakee County does not have her birth recorded, should I have checked Iroquois or Will county....I was fairly sure Manteno was Kankakee....My grandfather never mentioned this sister....were people in the habit of stealing names? I know in every genealogy there is to be a mystery....well this one is mine<G>....Any help would be appreciated.....By the way I am planning on the Pumpkin Fest, is it both Saturday and Sunday?....Thanks, Karen Virkkala KarenV@prodigy.net
