It seems as if your names match my own family: a Louis Demers married a Julienne Joubert, and both sides of the Demers and Joubert family were present when their 18-year old daughter Elena (Eleanore, Ellen or Lena) married Julien (Jules, Julius) Giroux on 24 Feb 1873 in St. Marys (Beaverville) Illinois. Julius and Lena were my ggrandparents.
