I'm interested in the Francoeurs that came from Quebec to Beaverville around 1852. In particular, I'm looking for Zephiron (note: I have seen his name spelled in a variety of ways, so this spelling may not be accurate). Zephiron Francoeur b. 1823 m. Emerance Fortin d. 1907, buried at St. Mary's in Beaverville. I'm looking for any information that would help me to discover what part of Quebec that they are from (I suspect Il St. Anne, which is why I joined this list). I also suspect that this family may have been originally LeClerc, which appears to be the common philosophy, but I have yet to make that connection working up from the Francoeurs. Thank you!
