    3. L'ECUYER: FRANCE>QUEBEC>ILLINOIS>KANSAS I have just finished adding almost 400 new L'Ecuyer family names to my database, thanks to a relative who also belongs to the Vermont French-Canadian Genealogical Society. My Illinois ancestors were: Narcisse L'Ecuyer (b. 1815, L'Acadie, Quebec; d. 1905, St. George, IL), married 1839 to Marguerite Le Claire (? - ?), with 10 or 11 children. I would appreciate any information or clues on the siblings and their spouses, as follows: John married Domtild Raimond; Napoleon married Mary Gadboid, he was wounded in the Civil War; Hermind married Edward Granger; Phelomene married Narcisse Granger in Kankakee, IL; Delima married Celestine Fortin; Florence; Ida married (1)Francis Graveline, also married (2) Napoleon Boudreau; Celia, a nun in the Sisters of St. Frances de Salle; Ferial (1847)--my ancestor-- married Mathilda Drolette 1866 at Manteno, IL; Auerlie (1852) died in childhood; Mary (1864) married Pierre Betournay.
