My Great Grandmother, Matilda BOUDREAU-FORGUE, who died 28 Feb 1919 at the St. Joseph's Home in Abilene, Kansas, has recorded on her death certificate a Father of Peter BOUDREAU and a Mother of Dorothy TREMBLAY. She was the wife of Augustin FORGUE, the son of Augustin FORGUE, Sr and Mary LAVALEE. Matilda was b. 24 Apr 1832, d. 28 Feb 1919, m. 27 Sep 1852 to Augustin at St Cyprien Church of Napierville, QC. Augustin had a previous wife who died by the name of Marie Mathilda PIERRE. Augustin FORGUE and Matilda BOUDREAU had 6 or 7 children. They moved from Canada to Illinois and later to Kansas (1871-1872) where they were farmers in Cloud County, Kansas Eulalie (Lilly) Cyprien (Henry) - My Grandfather Marie (Mary) Louis Raphael (Ralph) Marie (died at 1yr) Joseph (? died as a child) I have copies of wedding records and death certificate on Matilda and Augustin.
