Hi, I am new to this list and my name is Jan Zewari. I was referred to this list by Les Arseneau who has been a great help to me and my daughter, Michelle, in our search for our roots. Thanks Les! I recognize others on the list who have also been of help and I'm grateful to them as well. I have to say that as far as my experience goes the Illinois sites are far superior than any of the other state sites I have dealt with. I'm happy to be a part of this list. The surnames we are researching include: SPENARD, ST. PIERRE, GEORGETEAU, WOOD and WOODY.
