Hi everyone.... I have a question pertaining to a document that Kathye Knight forwarded on to me... the document is the records for St. Patrick's Church in Aurora, Kansas and my question is this.... On many of the names where there should be letters with accents the letter Z has replaced them... What I am wondering is what accent would be above the letter e in the name Timothe which in the document came out TimothZ... I suppose my lack of good grades in high school French is showing here.... Let me know if you have an answer is it é or è or perhaps ê or ë. Perhaps the gentleman that transcribed and translated the documents might be able to help? Thank you in advance... Sincerely, Deborah
