There were Goyette's that settle in Clay County, near Royal, Iowa in the 1800's. If you would like me to copy the information from their Centennial book let me know your address and I'll send it along to you. -----Original Message----- From: Cindy Gates [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, October 11, 2002 11:05 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [ILSTANNE] Re: {not a subscriber} Searching for benoit Thanks. Puzzle Solved! From what you've said here it looks like another connection of the Benoit and Goyette famiilies other than my Grandmother (Adelina Goyette) and my grandfather (Albert Benoit). Your Information is what I've been looking for I really appreciate it. I know that the Goyettes in my family settled in Illinois and then Kansas but I am wondering if there might be a Prudence Goyette whose parents are Pierre-Ambroise Goyette and Charlotte Guillet. Prudence was born in the early 1800's, she and her parents were born in Quebec, Canada.
