Dear Listors, Thanks to all of you associated with this list, I now have birth records of Jean Baptiste Ledoux's three daughters by his first wife Marie Paille, as well as their marriage record. You've also given me the death record of the first daughter, Caroline, at ten months of age. These took place in Iroquois County instead of Kankakee, as I had thought. What I don't have are (1) Marie's death record (sometime between 1864 and 1870), and (2) the names of any of Marie's family. Would any of you have time to check all available Iroquois records for the death of Marie PAILLE or any PAILLE in Iroquois? Also, any other Paille record, in any of the variations of spelling, that you happen to spot which might be helpful in tracking down her family. I would be very grataeful.
