    3. On 02/21/2000 I had sent a message that can be found below in response to a message sent by Kwirsching@aol.com "Karen" regarding the "Descendants of Etienne Boudrot I". I was particularly interested in the children of Pierre BOUDREAU and Dorothy TREMBLAY, whom I consider to be my GG Grandparents. I have since rediscovered and have been sent another copy of a Baptismal record, of Matilde Boudreau, from Saint-Cyprien de Napierville, diocese de Saint-Jean, which when translated reads as follows: - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- - -------------------------------------------- B. 96 Matilde Boudreau On 24 April 1832. I the undersigned Parish Priest having Baptized Matilde, born yesterday of legitimate marriage of Pierre Boudreau Cultivator and Dorathee Tremblay of this parish. Godfather Laurent Gregorie. Godmother Marie Anne Lamarre. who are undersigned. N. L. Amiot Priest - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ------------------------------------------- In addition, and again from Saint-Cyprien de Napierville, a Marriage record for Augustin FORGUES and Matilde BOUDREAULT, when translated reads: - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ------------------------------------------- No. M. 15 Augustine Forgue and Matilde Boudreault This 27 September 1852. The publication, "The 3 bans of marriage", done by the Sundats Consective before taking our mass. of our masses at Parish Church, of his at Saint Valentine as it appears on the certificate. Sir Morisson, and the priest of Widower. Amoung us Augustine Forgues Cultivateur living in the parish of St. Valentine. Widower of age, of Matilda Antoine Pierre on the one part and Matilda Boudreault a miner the daughter of late deceased Pierre Boudreault and Dorothee Tremblay of this parish of the other part. Not having uncovered anything standing in the way of this marriage of the opinion of the parents of the minor party. We the priest and the undersigned having received their mutual consentment to the marriage and having given the marriage blessing in the presents of Antoine Forgues brother of groom, and Cyprien Boudreault brother of the bride and Michel Moisan. The undersigned of other person who of the spouse have declared unable to sign. M. Moisan La Marechal Ptre "priest" Gerard Joliver, Ptre "priest" April, 1981 - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- - --------------------------------------------- The confusion now comes from the statement in the 1852 marriage record: "the late deceased Pierre Boudreault and Dorothee Tremblay of this parish" AND the notes within Karen's 21 Feb 2000 message that have Pierre BOUDREAU as dying 7 April 1888 in Bourbonnais, IL and Dorothy TREMBLAY dying 10 June 1864 in Bourbannais, IL. Another note states that Pierre and Dorothy were in Burbonnais, IL before 1852 but were living in Napierville, Q.P. at the time of Cyrille's first marriage to Francoise Roy. ************** Previous Message Follows ********************** Question for the BOUDREAU family folks The outline below lists several of the BOUDREAU family members and their children.
