"Gaspard and Marin Boucher (2 brothers) and Noel Langlois were recruited as censitaire for Robert Gifart(Giffard). They arrived in Quebec the 4th of June 1634 aboard the ship St-Jehan. For the next 2 monts they helped build the manor for Lord Giffard and on the day the manor was dedicated - July 25, 1634 - Noel married Francoise Grenier. He was given land at Beauport by Lord Giffard." Lou
