Bonjour Might am well toss in my 2 cents worth. George Doxtoder and Martina LaVoie may not have had a daughter named Josephe but they did have a son named Joseph. His name was Joseph Zephyr Doctateur,he was buried at MBVM 7 Apr 1877,4 mo.old. Parents were listed as George Doctateur et Martina Lavole. So Doxtoder = Doctateur ?? >From the MBVM death records. Josephte Boudreau born 1814,died 1894,buried MBVM Cem. ,Spouse of Joseph Boudreau/MN Studer* The Records of St.Luc,L'Acadie show a Joseph Boudreau, son of Etienne et Louise Bourassa,3 Aug 1841 a ( Josette Doxtoder. No entry for parents). THey appear to have moved to Bourbonnais between 1853-1858 Also in the L'Acadie records is Josette Dextradeur daughter of Jean Baptiste et Josette Gervais, maries 3 Aug 1841,a Joseph Boudreau. Same records shows Josette had a brother named Alexandre Dextradeur, who maries,26 Oct 1847, a Sophronie Dupuis. SO now Doxtoder = Doctateur= Dextradeur = Studer. Ok who is on first(VBG) Now for Louis Kuerraux the other godparent of Louis Pierre Boudreau. This is the first time I have seen the Kyrouac name spelled this way. This Louis was probably Louis Narcissus Kyrouac the husband of Malvina J.Lord. Well I guess I used up 2 cents worth a Bientot Jack Langlois > > I'm not sure how the sponsors were chosen, if they were all married couples, or one sponsor from the mother's side of the family and one from the father's side? I would suppose that the Josephte Studer is Judith-Josèphe DOXTODER who married Joseph BOUDREAU. She is the only Josephte STUDER that was in Kankakee County that I'm aware of. Here brother Georges DOXTODER (m. Martine LaVOIE) was also in the area, but they didn't have any daughters named Josèphe. > Bren > alan boudreau <[email protected]> wrote: > Listers, > In reviewing some data on my Bonneville, provided to > me by Dave King(thanks again Dave), I noticed a name > I've not encountered before. > Looking for info on > Louis KUERRAUX and also Josephte Studer > (Doxtoder??) who were godparents at the baptizing of > Louis-Pierre Boudreau on July 12, 1869 son of Pierre > and Ezilda Boudreau. > > Google search has nothing on KUERRAUX. Hello: The "Louis Narcissus Kyrouac the husband of Malvina J.Lord" was probably too young to be a godparent in 1869. The Louis Kyrouac that was married to Josephte Boudreau would be a better fit. richard graveline Georgia ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jack" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 12, 2003 6:18 PM Subject: [ILSTANNE] Re: Kyrouac-- Kuerraux > Bonjour > Might am well toss in my 2 cents worth. > > > Now for Louis Kuerraux the other godparent of Louis Pierre Boudreau. > This is the first time I have seen the Kyrouac name spelled this way. > This Louis was probably Louis Narcissus Kyrouac the husband of Malvina > J.Lord. > > Well I guess I used up 2 cents worth > a Bientot > Jack Langlois >
