Hi: Just joined the list so here is a little about myself. I have been doing genealogy for over 25 years, in 1994 when they had the Retrouvaille in Canada I saw there was a Boudreau family reunion and someone mentioned they had a file of thousands of Boudreaus, I was not able to contavt them so I started my own file of all the Boudreaus (all spellings) I could find. I kept finding many many spelling variations and started collecting them and as of now have a list of 250 which is on our website www.boudreauxfamily.org I now have a file with over 38,000 Boudreau(x)s and I have connected about half of them to Michel Boudrot/Michelle Aucoin, the other half I am still working on. I recently joined the Sons Of Confederate Veterans and have since started woking on connecting as many Boudreau(x)s as I can that were in the Civil War (both confederate and Union). I also have a file on the War of 1812 and the American Revolutionary War. There were 4 in the American Revolutionary War and one was a Captain of a company of French Acadians that met with George Washington in his Cambrideg Mass. Headquarters before thew seige of Boston. The list of Civil War, War of 1812, and American Revolutionary War soldiers is also on our website, additions/corrections welcome. If I can help anyone with any Boudreau(x) genealogy, let me know. Would like to hear from anyone with Boudreau connections and compare information. Don Boudreaux Lafayette, La.
