Well I solved my own puzzle.... Pierre Gelino is listed with his son Henry in the 1880 census as Peter Deleno age 76 in Shirley, Cloud County, Kansas. If you look carefully at the on line image the census taker did list his last name as Geleno but unfortunately the on line search for this record is spelled Deleno. I never knew there was a son Henry until I read this will. Thanks again. I also found the 3 young children of Pierre and Adeline in an 1870 census IL Iroquois County township Papineau. It shows Henry age 4, George age 10, and I believe Achille (misspelled) age 12. but no parents....They are in the household of an older Canadian couple Lewis and Adele Fertier??? Does anyone have a date and place of death for Pierre and/or Adeline? Thanks again, Nancy
