Hi Carol Anne, I learned that one of my St. Pierre uncles, Edward Arthur, who was a farm laborer and 18 at the signing of the draft card, was missing the end of one finger. I don't know if that was the result of a farming accident or not, but it was an interesting tidbit. Like you, I've noticed some name variants. Thanks again for the tip!
