Hello. I am researching my Louis Faucher (my 3x Grandfather) married to Marie Amadee Roy Desjardins line. They had sons Sylvester (my 2X grandfather) - married Marguerite Amiot, Augustine (my 2X grandfather - married Marie Paradis, Antoine, John, Achilles, Arthur (Arcer), Amelia and probably more whose names I don't have. Sylvester and Maggie Amiot had (among others) Alec Alexander who married his 1st cousin Delia Marie, daughter of Augustine and Marie Paradis. My grandfather was one of four children born to Alec and Delia, Bertie Sylvester Augustine Faucher. My grandfather married Nora Irene Kame. They had 4 surviving children, 1 son, Frederick Leroy, my mother, Norma Lucille Faucher English Lincoln, Lorraine Marilyn Faucher Dismuke Lawrence, and Eloise Mae Faucher Finley. I am the 3rd of 3 daughters born to Norma Faucher and Leonard Jack English. The Fauchers were with the first group Father Chiniquy led to Kankakee County, Illinois and were excommunicated along with the majority of the parishioners and Fr. Chiniquy.
