Thank you! i'm working on this line right now, actually. my line comes through george's brother hubert gelino, who was my gg-grandfather. hubert had been a pickle to track, so i'm trying to find family information through his siblings. right now, the vital records i have listed for my gelino relatives are archived on my genealogy site here: http://www.alyska.net/genealogy/baileyrecords.html (this is my paternal side.) if anyone else has information, please let me know! -- alyska. ----------- http://www.alyska.net

    3. Alyska and Delores, I, too, am working on gathering information about the Gelineau family -- to help my cousin. My cousin Elmer W. Coyer's line goes like this: Francois Gelineau (1661-1697) m. Marie Menard-Levoilette (1670-1713) Daniel-Marie-Francois Gelineau (1694-1763) m. Marie-Marguerite Patenaude (1702-1761) Louis-Daniel Gelineau (1745-1793) m. Marie-Anne Robert-Fontaine (1747-1816) Louis Gelineau (1776-1813) m. Marie-Charlotte Tessier (1783 -1813) Marie-Louise Gelineau (1806 - ?) m. Antoine Carrier (1801-?) Joseph C. Coyer (1822 -1921) m. Marie-Emelie Chartier (1825-1856) Joseph J. Coyer (1853-1945) m. Marie Bouchard (1853-1924) Elmer Frank Coyer (1884-1969) m. Ethel Kate Dean (1884-1972) Elmer William Coyer I know Elmer will be glad to hear what you have found. If we have anything that might help, we will share. Cindy Radway

    3. I have just gone to your website where you have posted census records for Peter Gelino. The Peter Gelino listed in the 1880 Census (pt. 1 & 2) in Kankakee is the son of Pierre Gelineau. This Peter Gelino was married to Anna Bastien. They are the aunt and uncle of my grandfather. 3. Thanks Barbara, My info matches yours. I am still adding to my information on this line and the Sanche line. As you know I am related by way of Octave Gelino who was the sister of Peter, Hubert, etc. She married Aurel/Orel Sanche. I have finally found the connection that solves the puzzle of when and how Aurel and his sister Adele migrated to Kankakee. Please let me know if this is of interest to you.
