    3. I believe you may have some correct and some incorrect information about Hubert. The 1860 census shows this family with a very poor spelling of the last name. If you have access to Ancestry .com census records you will find this family listed as Pierre *Jolican* in Kankakee County, IL The parents are Pierre and Adeline.. One of their children is Octave (Octavia) who is my gg grandmother. I believe Peter ( Pierre) shown as 16 yrs old ( who later married Marie Anna Bastien) is an older brother of Hubert's who is shown to be 8 years old in that census. The son George is not shown in 1860. Hope this helps.
