Do you know what children they would have had in 1880? I looked through the Illinois pre-1901 marriage index, but didn't find anything. I even tried MARTIN grooms married to brides with a surname beginning with L. I saw a Joseph MARTIN married to a Julie PATENAUD, and that was in 1869. If you know what the names of their children who were born before 1880 it will help me find them in Fr. Ledoux's book on the French-Canadian families of Kankakee and Iroquois counties. Bren
