    3. Hi Marietta: I have a file that someone created from the Drouin book that they took all the names but put the names of the WIVES in alphabetical order instead of like the book is, with only the males in alphabetical order. It has all the names the book does. It is a pretty small file compressed (ZIP). If you would like a copy of it I can attach it to an email and send to you. The file fits on a regular floppy so it is less then 1.5 megs big. All you have to do is run PKZIP to unZIP it and you can read the file with any text processing program. I downloaded it off the internet several years ago. Don Boudreaux Lafayette, La. 1. [ILSTANNE] CDs of Beaverville-Papineau
    2. FYI--I just received Les Arseneau's CD of church records of Beaverville and Papineau. Absolutely super. A great job of transcribing all the old data. Just the first quick look gave me lotsa ancestral names. A word of warning: This, like other research resources, can become addictive. A person might not be able to tear oneself away. --bob in monterey, california

    1. [ILSTANNE] PRAIRIE
    2. Brenda Hbert
    3. Salut! Hi! My grandfather's younger sister Louise Theresa HEBERT married Delmar PRAIRIE on 22 May 1938 in Kankakee. Delmar PRAIRIE was born 7 Jun 1914 presumably in Kankakee County. In the 1930 Census Online I found a Jesse & Alphonsine PRAIRIE living at 212 Hill Street in Momence. Listed in their household were five children "relatives". Delmar (15 yrs.), Kenneth (13 yrs.), June (10 yrs.), Bernard (8 yrs.), & Robert (6 yrs.). This was the only family with a Del or Delmar Prairie in the 1930 Census in Illinois. In the 1920 Census, Jessie & Alphonsine were in Ganeer Township, but it looks like they were in the same house because they are enumerated on Hill Street. Delmar, Kenneth and June are listed as sons & daughter. Jessie was born about 1891 and Alphonsine about 1894. In the 1920 Census there is a Henry PRAIRIE enumerated directly after Jessie & Alphonsine. Henry was 20 years old, his wife, Anna Belle, was also 20, and they had a daughter named Henriette. Does anyone know anything about this family? Thank you in advance! Bren --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Tax Center - forms, calculators, tips, and more

    3. Bonjour According to my "confidential" source Abraham maries 1613 and arrived Quebec in the year 1614,along with Pivert and Desportes the baker. Marguerite, Francois et the Lesage girl arrived vers 1620 probably with madam Champlain aka(Helena Boule). So the big question remains; who was the first born in Nouvelle Francais: Eustache or his cousin Helene Any information about the ancestors or birth place of Abraham is strictly fiction or at best belongs in the Quebec Ghosts department. a Bientot Jack ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry Lesperance" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, February 23, 2003 11:49 PM Subject: Re: [QUEBEC] Abraham MARTIN > Jette and Tanguay confirm Sharyn's PRDH finding that Quebec was the place of > Abraham's burial. 1. [ILSTANNE] Introduction- Don Boudreaux
    2. Don Boudreaux
    3. Hi: Just joined the list so here is a little about myself. I have been doing genealogy for over 25 years, in 1994 when they had the Retrouvaille in Canada I saw there was a Boudreau family reunion and someone mentioned they had a file of thousands of Boudreaus, I was not able to contavt them so I started my own file of all the Boudreaus (all spellings) I could find. I kept finding many many spelling variations and started collecting them and as of now have a list of 250 which is on our website www.boudreauxfamily.org I now have a file with over 38,000 Boudreau(x)s and I have connected about half of them to Michel Boudrot/Michelle Aucoin, the other half I am still working on. I recently joined the Sons Of Confederate Veterans and have since started woking on connecting as many Boudreau(x)s as I can that were in the Civil War (both confederate and Union). I also have a file on the War of 1812 and the American Revolutionary War. There were 4 in the American Revolutionary War and one was a Captain of a company of French Acadians that met with George Washington in his Cambrideg Mass. Headquarters before thew seige of Boston. The list of Civil War, War of 1812, and American Revolutionary War soldiers is also on our website, additions/corrections welcome. If I can help anyone with any Boudreau(x) genealogy, let me know. Would like to hear from anyone with Boudreau connections and compare information. Don Boudreaux Lafayette, La.

    1. [ILSTANNE] ILSTANNE list guidelines - please read
    2. St. Anners - here is the guidelines message I send out to each new subscriber - pretty basic, really. Sending this now for everyone's information. I thought I had the archives address included, but recall now that I put it in the tagline instead. I hope that everyone has made a note of it! But in a pinch, go to < rootsweb.com > and navigate your way to ILSTANNE. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ GUIDELINES for the ILSTANNE list (especially numbers 1 & 6) Bonjour, new members and re-subscribers! It seems each list should have its guidelines on record, so here are ILSTANNE's. 1. Courtesy is the key to lister relationships. Here's our answer to the THANK-YOU QUESTION: I figure we're not such a big operation that we have to bury the THANK YOUs off-list. I like to see the THANK YOUs in our list messages - that way we can all profit from having good examples in front of our noses. When we see in the messages how generous our listers are with their information and work-product, it's nice to see them thanked publicly. 2. Message format: PLAIN TEXT only, please. 3. Attachments: Please don't try to send ANY attachments; RootsWeb does not allow them. 4. Subject Lines: Please provide each message with a sensible and informative headline. "Help!" is not acceptable. <GRIN> 5. Advertising: no outright ads, please - but it is certainly acceptable to send brief information about books and other resource material that may be of interest to the ILSTANNE listers. 6. IMPORTANT !!! please quote ONLY A LITTLE of the message you are answering - just enough to let other readers know what you are talking about. If your computer automatically copies the entire message to which you are responding, please DISABLE that feature. Otherwise, our database gets crowded with duplicates and our weekly ILSTANNE DIGEST contains too many repeats - tacky and inefficient. 7. Archives: At present archival copies are stored at < rootsweb.com > and can be retrieved by anyone. The RootsWeb homepage can provide a link to archive searches; also, see our list taglines. 8. SERIOUS NO-NO: No spam or mean-spirited comment (not that we ever would!). If someone else violates these rules, please do not send his or her message back to this list! Instead, tell me. 9. Please do not stray too far from our focus area. No chain letters, virus warnings, recipes, sob stories, get-rich schemes, non-genie pass-along jokes, political comment. I am Ginny Crawford, ILSTANNE administrator/listowner. Contact me directly at < [email protected] > or at < [email protected] > about anything ILSTANNE.

    1. [ILSTANNE] Leger or Toussaint Barsalou?
    2. Cynthia A Sweet
    3. I have a Delima Barsaloux who is the younger sibling to my gg grandmother. She is listed in the 1851 census for district #7, Chambly, Canada at age 2 and again with the same family and same approximate ages in 1860 St. Anne Kankakee census with Toussaint Barsalou. Yes, I do find George Chiniguy listed in 1880 as grandson with Leger. I have different parents for Toussaint than Leger's. That one may be incorrect. Do you have something else that links your Delia to Leger? Toussaint to Leger? I only have 3 children for Leger right now and one only lived 1 year. I need to correct this if I am wrong.
