I am looking for information on Thomas Pugh married to Beulah Hall and her mother Mary Pyle Hall who was supposed to have lived with or near them until her death on or about Aug 12 1846. Mary Pyle Hall moved to Shelby co after death of her husband John Hall Sr in Fayette co Ill. She is thought to be buried in Bolyard Cemetery in Shelby co Ill.

Nancy: This is my family. The lineage of the Pughs goes back to James M. Pugh, born in Wales in 1692, died 1724 in Chester Co., PA. I have little on the Halls except John, b. 15 Apr 1739 and married Mary Pyle b. abt 1795 in PA, d. 12 Aug 1846 in Shelby Co., IL. This is enough generations removed that I haven't yet researched this couple in Pennsylvania. They were married in Philadelphia but Beulah Ann Hall was born in Chatham Co., N. C. and married in Christian Co. KY. Seems the family got around. If this helps I have a little more on the Pughs (births, deaths, marriages). Would be happy to share. Thomas was a son of Robert PUGH & Margaret (RHOADES) also buried Methodist Cemetery north of Tower Hill Shelby Co, IL. My paternal grandfather Ernest William HIMEs was born in Shelby Co, IL. If it is any help John Hall did not die in Fayette Co IL he died in Christian Co KY. His estate was settled there in about 1820 naming all of his kids including Beulah Hall Pugh.
