Truthfully, Sherry, I think I asked only due to the names involved. This particular line is not my own but I have so many Robertson connections I "take" them all <grin> I believe she was born in Indiana but he was a Rev and they were in the Illinois area during their marriage. So I was really only asking if there might be a connection of sorts and not for anyone to go looking out of their way. I appreciate your help though. Also on the other message, you have the Nance and I have this married into my Alkire but although from Illinois this was in Iowa if I remember right. Can check it out if you wish me to. I do have "deep" roots in Shelby County though ~ Ponsler, Shumard, Breckenridge, Yakey, Manhart, Roley, and besides all that my little brother is buried in the Stewardson Cemetery (John Roy Waughtel) and in 1999 I was finally able to get a marker up but want to get a permanent one soon.
