How much history is there on Shelby co ,on churches ,on schools?Is there one book that might give me insight on my family.My g-g-grandfather William Turner moved there in 1840 ,my g-grandfather Levi Jefferson was around 6 years old when they moved there,he was married there, my grandfather was born there in Windsor ,John Alfred Turner born 17Oct 1871. Do you think I could get a birth certicate on my grandfather?William Turner died there in 1883 do you think, could I get a death certificate. Since I have been doing genealogy on my family I have found a greater need of knowing more ,sometimes I feel so close to all of them like I really knew them and talk with them ,I don't know how others feel, but sometimes my family thinks I'm nuts.Thank you for your help.
