Hello, Need some help as these Brenneman, Smith and Taylor families seem to be linked but I can't sort them out On White CO. ILL. 1850 census there is a Joseph Brenneman 39, Alzada 31, Emily 2, Sarah Olinges 10, Sarah J. Taylor 14, Mary F. Taylor 8, Mary King 47. Next door to them live my gggrandparents Bradley Taylor 21, Julia (Smith) Taylor 23, Susan Smith 10, I don't know if Susan is a little sister to Julia or what. Barbara - I don't know if you are aware of this website - excellent for Illinois research - http://www.sos.state.il.us/departments/archives/databases.html In the marriage database Joseph Brenneman is listed marrying Abzada Olinger, 10-8-1846, White Co., IL Try looking on this database for marriages for some of the girls and see if you come up with anything familiar.
