Hi Steve,, Well we both are on the Scriber hunt..While looking for my Polly Ann Scribner I came upon a Edward Scribner who was located in Flat Branch he had a George W. Scribner as his son. I was in Ancestry.com and the results came up. My Polly Ann Scribner has yet to be confirmed, but she was born about 1841 in Illinois, married a John A Taylor per the Illinois marriage archives in 1857 in Shelby County, then she also died there in 1910 in Windsor,Shelby, Illinois. Flat Branch was coming up all over my searchs with the Scribners in the information,,,not sure where it is. Hope this helps I will keep a look out.. Do a search for either William Edward Scribner or Edward Scribner....If this is the one I have more information on where they relocated to.
