We have seen a few places too where his wife ELIZA COLLINS BROTHERTON is shown as being from ILL plus WASH's dau says that both of her parents are from ILL Since the name FRANCIS is used in WASH's family, we are hoping that by some crazy chance, the family of this FRANCIS T might know of a connection between ILL and MO and TENN Brothertons? And why did WASH sign up for the CIVIL WAR in ILL while mostly living in mo UNLESS he had ties & family in ILL Hope you all out there can help solve the puzzle thanks
