His wife ELIZA ANN COLLINS, daughter of SARAH BENNETT MORELAND COLLINS who married a JAMES COLLINS, has been listed on census, etc as being from ILL - though there are conflicts about this A daughter of WASH & ELIZAs, states on a census that both parents are from ILL so we know there is an ILL connection - and since WASH signed up in ILL, we are hoping SOMEONE out there might recognize the BROTHERTON name & might be able to tie in our COLLINS/BROTHERTONS to SHELBY CO ILL Or other counties so that we can make some genealogy breakthroughs.
