Seeking info on ABRAHAM SHAY and his wife Ruth (maiden name unknown) ABRAHAM SHAY came to Shelby County in 1837 and he died about April 1, 1842. Ruth appears on the 1850 Illinois Census living in Peoria County with three of the younger children William, Joshua and Rebecca. Ruth then appears on the 1860 Illinois Census living with her son William and his family in Tazewell Co, IL. Would like to find a burial place to Abraham and would like to find out Ruth's maiden name? Any leads appreciated. Carolyn
