    3. Tim, I have given this a lot of thought, and talked to several people who care about our church and library, about it, and we came to the conclusion recently that the best thing for us to do, is ask the coordinators of some of the county websites to consider the possibility of putting a link on their pages to our website. Our website for the Primitive Baptist Library is (so you can see it, and decide whether you wish to do this or not): http://www.carthage.lib.il.us/community/churches/primbap/pbl.html As time permits, I will also try to prepare a brief account, or at least a list of the names of Primitive Baptist churches with some very basic information about them, and whether the records exist or not, surnames of members, etc., which could be included on the county website also, without putting my whole county chapter (from my book in progress) on the websites for each county. You are right, Hurricane was one, in Montgomery county. Sadly, many records are lost. Anyone can see what we have by going to our website and viewing the link of our holdings and clicking on the list of church records. It may need to be slightly corrected or updated (took 10 records to be filmed to Springfield just this week). Best wishes and thanks for considering this request, for Shelby county, at least. Please let me know what you decide.
