GERMANTOWN is NOW in Clinton County (formed 1824), and you can access the mention of Bankston/Bankson, Hill, and Hooper (about 1814) from their site. Think it was Washington County (or maybe Bond) in 1814. My early geography of IL requires lookups! SHERRY
