The original WHITE family that I have in IL was there prior to 1850 but the father's name was Humphrey WHITE, he also had a son Humphrey WHITE who married Elizabeth "Lizzie" LAWLER. Humphrey & Lizzie's son Arthur born 1875 was my stepfather (father of 7 of my siblings). He was born in Decatur, Macon County, but had a dairy in Stewardson in the 30's possibly before, delivered milk to surrounding communities. Was a County Road Commissioner in the mid 30s also.
