Hi I am researching my mothers line and thought I might find some documents or more information to what I have. I do have the list of siblings. I just love finding cousins so feel free to e-mail me if were related, or if you think we might be . I'm really interested in Sylvester Martin I can't seem to located him in a census and I don't know his parents or any siblings . Any help will be appreciated. Gloria Martin 1939 Missouri daughter of James Leo Martin b 1919 d 1977 from Winona Missouri he was the son of Evan Condo Martin b 1894 in Neoga Ill. d 1961 St. Louis Mo. Evan was the son of Sylvester Martin Mar. 5 1854 d Jan 21 1943 from Bruce Ill.( can't find it on my atlas ) and Alice Baker b 1865 Shelby Co. Ill d 1956 in Effingham They were married in 1889 I believe Sylvester father was James but have no further information Alice Baker was the daughter of Evan Baker May 15 1830- April 3 1897 and Sarah Rentfrow Nov. 2 1843 (Effingham Illinois) July 11 1906 1850 census Evan Baker was the son of James Baker jan 2 1809 Tenn. -Jan 31 1865 Shelby Co Ill. Margaret Emoline Patton April 26 1812 Tenn.- Dec. 5 1899 Hartford Kansas Sarah Rentfrow was the daughter of James Madison Rentfrow May 2 1815 Not sure when he died and Pernisy McWhorter b 1825 or 26 no more information James was the son of Elizabeth Rentfrow and Hickman Hensley I have a lot more list of siblings etc. and a few more ancestors outside Illinois if anyone has additional info I would appreciate it .
