Would there be any one on the list with access to cemetery books for these 4 Townships? I am making another attempt at locating the burial spot of my 2nd G-Grandfather William Webb. William was b. abt 1816 in IN and died sometime prior to 11 August 1877 in Shelby Co. William, wife Penelope Lineback-Webb and family came to Shelby Co. from Howard Co., IN sometime between 21 March 1862 and July 1865. They were enumerated in the July 1865 State census for Okaw Twp. William is listed in court records in Okaw Twp in December 1868. He was in Household 16 in Okaw Twp on 19 October 1869 and again on 10 March 1870 - when Penelope died and was buried in Foster Cemetery in Todd's Point Twp. He bought 40 acres in Section 24 of Pickaway Twp on 9 June 1870. He married again on 27 July 1870 in Sullivan Twp, Moultrie Co., IL to Mary Jane White. They resided on the 40 acres until his death sometime prior to 11 August 1877. William's probate records are in the Shelby Co. courthouse. I feel certain his 2nd wife Mary Jane buried him somewhere in this area or possibly in a cemetery in Sullivan Twp. Moultrie Co. I made a trip to the area 4 years ago, located Foster Cemetery and found Penelope's headstone plus other Webb family. There is no listing for a William Webb being buried in Foster Cemetery. I feel one of 2 things happened: Mary Jane did not bury William close to his first wife and family in Foster Cemetery or no monument was erected for him and his burial site has been lost. Any help would be most appreciated. Regards, Bill Webb
