I am not for sure, but should be. I know that is what they are called in Kentucky. Thanks, he married in Williams Co., Ohio in 1847 and was in the 1850 census for Seneca Co. Ohio under the name BAME, then from 1859? to his death he was in Shelby Co., Ill. Also I checked printed mortality record for 1860 and did not find the wife listed there even though the 1860 census looked as if she had died in 1860 at least before August when the census was taken. Actually, this is not my family. I do volunteer tombstone photos (not usually lookups though) through Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness (RAOGK) and this is a request that I received.
