Suggestion for Tower Hill research instead of using Tower Hill or any other phrase the best phrase would be surname date location that way when people go to the archives the surname will come up it doesnt in the message but does in the subject. Does anyone know anything about the Thomas's from the Stewardson area? Fred Thomas married a Veda Carlisle from Cowden and he resided there until 1929 when they divorced. Fred was from Stewardson and is believed to be buried there. Fred was born about 1887, he was listed as 41 on 1/13/1929 on my father's birth certificate, and believed to have died around 1966. Rumor is that he was returned to Stewardson for burial. He was the son of Andrew Joseph Thomas and Mary Fortuna. Since a younger brother, Andrew Joseph "Yappy" Thomas was born in Chicago, the family must have moved to the Stewardson area sometime after November 29, 1889. I also do not know if Fred is a shortened version or if it was his real name. It is the name on my father's birth certificate. However, I don't know how valid that is since they misspelled his mother's name. I am looking for any information on this family. Thanks, Joyce (Thomas) Conklin
