    3. Dixie and all, I've been giving this alot of thought of late. Last week, I went to the Rushville courthouse to get copies of a few probates and found that the circuit court office is being renovated, and they wouldn't be able to get to the books for at least four months. Can you imagine the amount of requests from genealogists that will be builtup by that time? This got me to thinking that its too bad the county courthouses don't hire one person whose sole responsibility would be to gather archival material from all the different departments, make the copies, etc. I would assume that most departments (circuit court, recorders) are located in the same building, and that none of them have the archival material on the computer, but are in books.
