Looking for any information on Samuel SCHAFFER who married Harriet EMERICK. I don't know how many children they had. All I have is my ggggrandmother, Eliza Jane. She was born on April 16, 1837 in Rushville. She married John Wesley LAWYER sometime around 1855. They had six children, Nancy (my gggrandmother). She was born on May 30, 1857 in Springfield. Amanda, William, Dora Ann, Tinee, and Henry. Nancy married a man named SHAW. They had one child, Lida Anna (my ggrandmother). She was born on December 14, 1874 in Springfield. Some of the family moved to Washington State. Lida married my ggrandfather, Robert SLEIGHT. He was originally from England, but lived in Portland, Oregon. Thanks, Julie Hendrix
