I note several list responses on the WALKER surname. I should therefore add that America Walker was reportedly born in what is now Kosciusko, MS in 1812 or 1813. Her father may have been Jared or William Walker. Some of her Walker relatives may have joined her and her husband, Dr. Richmond, after they arrived in Schuyler County in 1836. Of particular interest to me would be any Walkers in Schuyler County who were from MS (or even AL, TN, or LA), born before 1850, and Methodists.
