2. List members - Please forgive me if this is off subject but a recent URL that was posted to one of my lists led me to this article which I felt should be shared. The subject of how dates were recorded prior to the year 1752 in different countries has recently become an issue in my research and i just wanted to let others know about this article that explains when the changes in the calendars occurred for each country from Julian to Gregorian, etc. It also explains how historians noted this change in their record books to help clarify for those of you who have reached this period in your family histories. Click here: Old Style and New Style Dates the url for those not on AOL: http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/dates.html Thanks for your time and I hope some of you find this information useful.
