This is a copy of an article in the paper this week. I thought I would pass this along to anyone interested. Numbers are posted below. The Schuyler Jail Museum Board has decided to proceed with a new addition. It will connect to the present building on the south side of the museum and will consist of one story measuring 24 feet X 90 feet. The addition will be used to showcase more Schuyler Co. artifacts which represents the county's past, present and future. The board will seek monetary donations instead of having a series of fund raisers. The museum receives no tax money from Schuyler Co., the City of Rushville, or the State of IL. All donations are tax deductible. A list of every donation received will be kept and any contribution will be greatly appreciated. A plaque will be displayed in the new room listing all donors of $200.00 or more. The museum is open every day form 1-5p.m. All of our workers are volunteers.
