Hi, does anyone know anything about the following family? Jacob Fowler, supposedly from SC, wife Rebecca?? They had a daughter, Elizabeth, supposedly born in Jefferson Co., KY, 1800, who married Richard Springs Black in DuBois Co., IN about 1816. The Blacks moved to Schuyler about 1825, settled on the site of Rushville, but had to give up that farm and moved south into Woodstock Twp. Other children of Jacob and Rebecca? Fowler were: Mordecai, who married ?? Riley, probably in IN, William, Isaac, Mary, Sarah and Rebecca. All of these people moved to Schuyler in 1826-1827. Most of this info is from the Combined History of Schuyler and Brown Co, 1882. (Many thanks to Carol Longwell Miller for transcribing it!!)
