I have now traced 816 descendants--including step/adopted children. This is still without info from two other sources and one family reunion I went to this summer. If you have Billingsleys from SCHUYLER CO, IL, you are probably related. Let me know so I can include you on the "Sesquicentennial List of the Descendants of Joseph and Sarah Warfield Billingsley." Joseph Billingsley was b. in 1807 in Maryland and md. Sarah in 1831. They moved to Warren Co, OH with two small children. Five more children were born into the family, and they are listed on the 1850 Warren Co, OH census. By 1851, Joseph bought land in Schuyler Co, IL and here the children matured, married, and some moved on. Joseph's children were James Harvey (descendants lived in MO, AR, FL, CO, CA); Mary Ann Billingsley Phillips Perkins (desc. still in Schuyler Co), William Pruitt Billingsley (descendants in St. Louis, Nokomis and Galesburg, Industry and Macomb IL); Henrietta Billingsley Strausbaugh (desc. in Schuyler and surrounding area, MO); Robert Joseph Billingsley (desc. in Schuyler Co, Galesburg, Vermont, Macomb and Canton, IL, FL, Muskogee, OK); Samuel (only dau. died young in OK), and Benjamin Warfield Billingsley (desc. in Schuyler/Brown Co, Galesburg and Beardstown, IL, IA).
