Hi, I am new to the list and would like to see if anyone has any information on my Kennedys. Sherwood CANNADAY/KENNEDAY came to Schuyler Co. abt 1835. He owned property near Birmingham. They came from Davidson Co. NC. wife was Alis Elizabeth Conner. Children were Wilson Kennedy William H. Kennedy Susanna Kennedy Sally Kennedy Thomas Kennedy Rebecca Kennedy Ensley Cynthia Kennedy Rigg John Kennedy Elizabeth Kennedy Booker Phoebe Kennedy Ward John and Cynthia were born in Schuyler Co. Sherwood and many of family are buried in Scott Cemetery in McDonough Co. There are other family members buried there too. So I think that brothers of Sherwood must have come to this area too.
