    1. HACKWORTH (HACKWITH), HALL
    2. Joan Miller
    3. I am researching the surname Hackworth (Hackwith) in Schuyler County, Illinois. Thomas Hackworth (Hackwith) b. l5 Sep l850 to parents James Preston Hackworth and Nancy Bryant (or Branham) in Bainbridge Township, Schuyler County, Ill. Thomas had a brother named James Preston Hackworth b. l848. Thomas's father James Preston (or just Preston) was the son of George Hackworth and Ann Leftwich. Thomas Jefferson Hackworth (Hackwith) shown above married Alvina Hall, daughter of Elisha Hall and Angeline Heflin, in Versailles, Ill. in l876. Their children were: James Monroe Hackwith (Hackworth), Ida May Hackworth (Hackwith, and Veda Marie Hackworth (Hackwith). The spelling of the surname was changed after Thomas Jefferson Hackworth married Alvina Hall. The spelling is now shown as Hackwith in our family records for this branch of the Hackworth family. Please contact me if you have any information. Joan

    3. Dear Researchers: As County Coordinator for Mason County ILGenWeb (http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilmason/), I am attempting to help one of my mail list subscribers with a project she has been working on. Below is a link to a list of names sent to me by Penny Duncan of pictures that she has in her possession. She is attempting to find some way of letting others know that she has Mason County (or even from surrounding counties) pictures of people that she would like to give to the Family members of those pictures. It is, of course, a way of helping her find other links to her Family, as well. Never-the-less, she is not selling these pictures, she is merely trying to find the Family members and will send the pictures to the Family members for the price of postage. So, just browse through her collection and see if you would like to make contact with her. http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilmason/pdpictrs.html Who knows you may find a long lost picture of a relative.
