I'm searching for death date and burial place of William Clements. He was born abt 1832 in KY? Married Julia Angel in 1853 Champaign Co. IL - I have the marriage record and it tells me nothing of parents of either of these two people. Julia's death record of april 1908 says she is buried in Marlow cem. I think this would be Schuyler Co. This record lists her husband as Nathan . Very confusing as the 1870 census and the marriage record name him William. Any help would be geat. Looking for the final resting place of Henrietta Moore (Adams) in Schuyler Co., IL. Henrietta may have been an orphan. She was born KY abt. 1789. She is listed on the 1870 Mortality Schedule for Schuyler Co, Oakland Twp. She was married to Charles Moore b. 1817 in Lincoln Co., KY. Does anyone know how to find her final resting place? The state does not carry anything I believe at this time. Laureen wite@icanect.net
I want to add that I also wish to extend my thanks to Robin. I have done so through personal e-mail but the list should know that anyone researching Schuyler County has a distinct advantage over researchers in other counties throughout the U.S. Robin's site should be used by other sites on the USGenWeb Project as an example of one of the best. Thanks Robin from one of your avid supporters. Hi Carl, I am replying to the list as this might help others. The Schuyler County Historical Jail Museum and Genea. Center can do searches for you - they have volunteers who will look into land records at the courthouse. They also have _some land abstracts at the museum/library. The cost is $5.00 an hour for research, plus the cost of copies. Hi everyone, We've had quite a few changes this week. The search engine was installed on the Schuyler County ILGenWeb site. It seems to be working well, as I haven't heard any complaints. Please let me know if you encounter any trouble. I would also like to let you know that the search engine will only be refreshed once a week - probably on the weekend. Three days ago I started uploading Birth Records, Book 1. These are the records that are in the County Courthouse, and were filmed by the FHL. I've spent considerable time extracting the records for the site. It should be noted that I will only be putting online birth records previous to 1900. Today, we received our signed permission form from The Rushville Times stating that we could use obituaries and historical articles from The Times that may not be in the public domain. Now it is possible to put online that information which was published from 1923 to the present. Hope you all are enjoying the changes in the website and that you stop by often! http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilschuyl Take care, Robin Schuyler Co. ILGenWeb Coordinator

If anyone has access to the 1870 census for Schuyler Co would they mind checking to see if there is a listing for Jacob and Mary (Hamilton,Stoneking) Frakes. Also the 1880 census. Mary would be about 8 years older than Jacob. I'm also searching for Joseph Stoneking, son of Mary who would be about 20-21 in 1870 and possibly married by then. Would appreciate any help. I'm wondering what happened to them after 1860. Thanks.

A couple of months ago I posted the above mentioned obit. to the boards. After speaking with my cousin Victor, he pointed out an error I had made in the funeral service portion of the obit. I apologize and ask that you make the correction for me please. I listed one of her brothers as Leo Lashbrook, This is wrong it should have been William Lashbrook. I am sorry for the misinformation. Thank you, Beth Presley
Is there any one that can help Bonnie? I have some Duncans that married people in Browning Twp, Schuyler Co but nothin on the Duncan's ancestors. He is Isaac Wilbur DUNCAN (b. 2 May 1872, Fulton Co., Illinois, d. 12 Dec 1947, Castroville, Monterey, California) m Nellie Bell (Nee) WILCOX, 17 Mar 1898, Horton, Brown, Kansas. He was taken back to St. Joseph, Buchanon, Missouri, to be buried in Mt. Auburn Cemetery there with quite a few other members of his family. Isaac & Nellie had 6 children. It appears that my gfather's family was in Illinois in the 1870s, when he was born, but moved to Kansas prior to 1898, when he wed. He stayed there until between 1903 & 1905 then moved to St. Joseph, Buchanon, Missouri. My understanding is that the entire family (incl children & their families) eventually moved to Monterey County, California, between 1936 to 1947. Any assist would be greatly appreciated. Pls write me directly at fava@budsters.com . I have additional info on the family of Nellie WILCOX which I have not included here, as well as names & info on all of Isaac & Mary's children. Also some limited decendancy (limited mostly to my personal line) which I would be glad to share. Hope to hear from you soon. Bonnie F. fava@budsters.com
