Hi Elder Robert, Some of the names in this church are very familiar to me. I am Margarette Davis, the descendant of Jeremiah Moore and the Carters and Evans of Liberty Church. We have corresponded before. Isn't this church pretty close to the Liberty Church? At least it is pretty close to where I thought the Liberty Church was but maybe I am wrong. I think this George Davenport lived very close to my people and they were supposed to lived in Island Grove. The Jacksonville Road runs through Island Grove from Springfield to Jacksonville. Alsburys married into my Hodgerson family but not Brice Alsbury but he may have been a brother to Levi who was son of Charles Alsbury. I believe Charles was a preacher also but maybe I am mixed up. David Simms was with Jeremiah Moore and the others in Ten Mile in Hamilton co and asked for his letter to move to Liberty same time as the Moores. He was married by Robert Moore in Hamilton Co. He later moved to Morgan Co, I believe. Lewis Robertson was married to one of the Hodgerson girls and he had a son named Brice (probably named for Brice Alsbury) After Robertson's wife died he married an Alzina Ray Evans(I see you have Rays in this church) Alzina Ray was the widow of John Evans who was in the Liberty church and later the Fancy Point church. I believe this church was very close to Island Grove or what became Island Grove TWP when the twps were formed. Berlin is in Island Grove TWP. In our correspondence a while back you were looking for Berlin church on Spring Creek. Is it possible this was Berlin church? TTYL, Margarette Davis
